"On the second day of Christmas…." (1)
"My true love gave to me two turtle doves… " (2) We don’t have turtle doves but we can plum for the next best thing – the more common collared dove. Here is ours sheltering from the cold, just like the one captured here in Robert Perring’s photo from the ‘Let’s Get Snapping for ME’ competition. Although ours has taken the extra precaution of wrapping up in a fetching bobble hat! Robert’s is the fifth photo to be magically transformed into our Advent Calendar.
